Callaway engineers understand what it takes to design and manufacture suspension components that have to withstand the rigors of international competition. Their experience also provides the technological base enabling them to develop dampers, springs, bushings and anti-roll bars that can absorb bumps and ruts in today’s road surfaces. Unencumbered by cost constraints that limit original equipment manufacturers, the optional Callaway Coil-Over Suspension System produces race car handling with road car manners.

Unique Design - Our engineers have proven that excellent handling does not have to sacrifice comfort. Callaway’s unique suspension system includes coil-over springs that supplement the total spring rate once the suspension displacement exceeds a given value. In other words, the coil-over springs do not compress until you corner hard or accelerate or decelerate hard. The car’s leaf springs are not eliminated as they are in other coil-over systems. This allows the leaf springs to assume the lead role in suspension during less aggressive driving, avoiding the harsh ride of conventional coil-over suspensions. Retaining the leaf springs also avoids directing all of the road forces through the shock mounts, a condition that can result in metal fatigue and fracture.

Performance Under Pressure - When the Callaway Coil-Over Suspension System is pushed to the limit, it really performs. Dampers are manufactured to extremely close tolerances, using premium materials and external reservoirs for consistent damping as driving gets aggressive and internals heat up. Independent compression and rebound damper settings are adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune for your specific application. Callaway Anti-Roll Bars are tuned to distribute road forces evenly, controlling body roll angle and yaw rate and maintaining optimum tire-to-road contact. The combination of these tuned components results in increased cornering capability, without the jitter frequently experienced during high lateral acceleration. This system keeps the tires planted to the asphalt.

Virtually Infinite Adjustment - A baseline setting is included in the instructions, with directions for adjusting the settings to change suspension characteristics. You can leave the suspension adjusted to factory recommended settings or experiment with damper compression and rebound, ride height and anti-roll bar preload for your particular road or track conditions.
