Callaway engineers understand what it takes to design and manufacture suspension components that have to withstand the rigors of international competition. They also know how to develop dampers, springs, bushings and anti-roll bars to absorb inconsistencies in today’s road surfaces. Instead of accepting a compromise, the Callaway Coil-Over System offers the best of both worlds.

Our staff proved that excellent handling does not have to sacrifice comfort. Callaway’s unique suspension system includes coil-over springs that supplement the total spring rate once the suspension displacement exceeds a given value. In other words, the coil-over springs do not compress until you corner hard or accelerate or decelerate hard. The original equipment leaf springs are not eliminated as they are in other coil-over systems. This allows the leaf springs to assume the lead role in suspension during less aggressive driving as intended by the OEM, avoiding the harsh ride of conventional coil-over suspensions. Retaining the leaf springs also avoids directing all of the road forces through the shock mounts, a condition that can result in metal fatigue and fracture.

When the Callaway Coil-Over System is pushed to the limit, it really performs. Dampers are manufactured to extremely close tolerances, using premium materials and external reservoirs (exc. Camaro w/non-adj. dampers) for consistent damping as driving gets aggressive and internals heat up. Independent compression and rebound damper settings are adjustable, allowing you to fine-tune for your specific application.

Leave the Callaway Coil-Over System set at factory settings or experiment with damper compression and rebound settings, ride height and anti-roll bar preload for your particular road or track conditions.

Callaway Competition’s German engineers build series-dominating Z06.R GT cars for several European teams and campaign their own ADAC GT Masters racecars. So when it was time to develop a new shock absorber for Callaway’s 25th Anniversary Corvette road cars, they collaborated with the experts at Bilstein-Germany to design, validate and construct a new damper system.

Racing damper features are incorporated, adjusted to eliminate harsh “racing-only” ride characteristics. Along with shock dynamometer development, in-car testing at Nordschliefe, the north loop of the Nürburgring, provided extensive data which was used to establish valving specifications.

Bilstein’s high quality manufacturing standards are maintained throughout on these Callaway-branded dampers. Sold in serialized matched sets.

Callaway Anti-Roll Bars

Anti-Roll Bars

Callaway Anti-Roll Bars are tuned to distribute road forces evenly, controlling body roll angle and yaw rate and maintaining optimum tire-to-road contact. The combination of these tuned components results in increased cornering capability, without the jitter frequently experienced during high lateral acceleration. This system keeps the tires planted to the asphalt.

Adjustable, severe-service end links and multiple mounting holes allows fine tuning for any road or track conditions. May be used with stock dampers, Callaway Nürburgring Dampers, or Callaway Coil-Over Suspension.
