Callaway Cars and Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park of Thompson CT are partners in a collaborative program which includes Callaway’s access to the racetrack’s facilities for vehicle testing and delivery.

Now you can pick up or bring* your new Callaway to Thompson Motorsports Park in Thompson, Connecticut and enjoy a unique delivery experience. Callaway staff work with Thompson personnel to provide you with a comprehensive introduction to your new car. The Callaway Team guides you through the features and capabilities of your Callaway Corvette or Callaway Camaro and shows you how your car can perform in actual on-track conditions. You’ll get one-on-one, on-track driving instruction with Callaway staff to show you how to get the most from your car’s increased performance.

The all-day event also includes full access to the Thompson Motorsports Park paddock area as well as lunch with the Callaway team.

*GM recommends that new cars accumulate 1500 miles on the odometer prior to participation in track events, driving schools, or similar activities. See FAQs below for more info.

Callaway Track Club Experience FAQs

What can I expect at the Track Club Experience?

Here’s the standard Callaway Track Club Experience itinerary:
– Start
• Arrive at Thompson Motorsports Park by 9:15 AM for “Meet & Greet”
• Sign-in, including completing Thompson’s checklist, signing the track’s liability release and receiving wristbands
– Drivers’ Meeting
• 9:45 AM, sharp
• Discussion of track rules and safety protocol
• Explanation of flags, passing, track etiquette
– Program presentation with Callaway Delivery Team
• Comprehensive review of your Callaway’s construction, its features and benefits
• Discussion regarding vehicle operation and performance characteristics
• What to expect on track
– Morning On-Track Sessions
• Session 1: Introductory laps with owner driving and following pace car with Callaway instructor as passenger/coach
• Session 2: Split – first with Callaway instructor driving, then followed by owner driving with instructor as passenger/coach
• Session 3: With owner driving and Callaway instructor as passenger/coach
– Lunch with Callaway
• Approximately 12 Noon to 1:00 PM
– Afternoon On-Track Sessions
• Track sessions with owner driving, with guests as passengers (or with Callaway instructor as passenger/coach, if desired)
– Wrap-Up
• Approximately 4:00 PM
• Callaway Delivery Team recaps the day’s events
• Track Delivery Certificate presentation and vehicle/owner on-track photos

Does the Callaway Corvette or Callaway Camaro need any special preparation for the Track Club Experience?

Yes. GM recommends that Corvettes and Camaros should accumulate 1500 miles prior to participation in track events, driving schools, or similar activities. GM also recommends that two additional quarts of transmission fluid should be added to 2020 to 2022 Corvettes before on-track driving. Callaway reserves the right to require an extra-cost Track Preparation procedure for Callaway Corvettes and Callaway Camaros participating in the Callaway Track Club Experience.

Do I need special insurance to participate?

Callaway strongly recommends that owners secure liability insurance for this event. We are proud to partner with NCM Insurance, part of the National Corvette Museum family of companies. For more information, contact NCM Insurance at (270) 467-8848. Or, you can select the provider of your choice. Providing insurance coverage, or any liability due to damages during the operation of the owner’s vehicle, is the sole responsibility of the owner.
