Owners’ Quote – Jim & Debbie’s Callaway Corvette SC652

Dear Reeves,

We just took ownership of our brand new SC652 in Supersonic Blue last week. Our past ownership includes a few mid 60’s models, a 2002 Z06, a 2005 C6 and the last 2008 Z06 so we obviously like Corvettes.

When we started our search to upgrade the 2008 Z06 we looked long and hard at the ZR1 and then came aware of Wilson Niblett’s Callaway Dealership via the internet and Auto Trader advertising.

We then attended an local racing event at Mosport where they sponsored their annual Hill fest Corvette event.

We had a great experience with Darryl Atkinson and then both John and Gord Wilson became personally involved to assist us in making the right decision. After this even Brian Hay, their Director of Performance was involved so we certainly had our share of expertise and each of them took the appropriate amount of time to fully understand our goals and explain the competitive advantages of the SC606 and SC652 vs the ZR1. All with no sales pressure… Just a pure interest in building our trust.

It is easy to say, that we did our due diligence when comparing the vehicles.

Why a Callaway? It is simple, the uniqueness of being only one in the world is terrific and exclusive.
The overall looks of the vehicle from the front to the back, hood, exhaust, rims, etc, are just mean and evil looking (in a good way). The sound of the car’s exhaust is amazing, the Supersonic Blue color stands out in any crowd.

The broad rpm power band and acceleration of the supercharged power plant is everything a person would ever want it to be. The cornering of the car is similar to being on a rail; it just goes where you aim it. All of this power in a vehicle that still handles as well as the ZR1 and C6 Vettes on everyday roads and traffic. The short throw shifter is a major plus when running through the gearbox.

Wilson Niblett refers to the power as linear. It definitely seems to “pull hard forever”

We did happen to do extensive research into the ZR1, test drives, etc and even though it is a nice vehicle, It is NOT a CALLAWAY!

We cannot wait to see the next C7 generation and what your design to go with that.

Feel free to use / publish our comments as a testimonial anytime, We would ask that you send us a copy of what you publish so we can be proud of seeing our name used as a reference.

I will attach a picture of the car today and be sure to forward a picture of us with it as soon as we can

Do you have available any garage posters, signage, etc that we can hang proudly in our garage?

We are just beginning the “MAN CAVE” design, installing a hoist and doing the fridge, benches, epoxy floor, etc and any type of advertising would be a great compliment.

We are even considering coming to Carlisle this August or next maybe year. It sounds like a good time.

Thank You for building amazing, exclusive high performance vehicles,

We hope to actual meet you one day and maybe tour a facility,

Sincerely,
Jim and Debbie
